KTM Dirt Bike Graphics
The SX-E 5 is KTM's electric kids' motocrosser. It's quiet enough for the backyard, styled like a full-size SX, and there's no exhaust, so the side panels are clean and uninterrupted.
Parents often choose it for young riders just getting started. An SX-E 5 graphics kit with bright colors and your child's name makes it theirs, and durable vinyl helps it survive the inevitable tip-overs.
- Radiator-style shrouds
- The main canvas, with no radiator behind them. Bold shapes work best.
- Battery-side panels
- Clean areas with no pipe to work around. Good for a name.
- Front plate
- Big, clear name or number.
- Rear fender
- A spot for a fun pattern or small logo.

SX-E 5 Design Guide
Three short guides written for the SX-E 5: how to plan the kit, where numbers go, and how to match it to your riding.

Designing a KTM SX-E 5 graphics kit, step by step
The SX-E 5 starts from KTM orange, with dark frame and rim hints in the preview. With no exhaust on either side, the left and right panels are very similar, which makes mirroring simple and keeps the design symmetrical. Start with the shrouds, which give the bike its SX-style face, then move to the side panels, front plate and rear fender. Bold, simple shapes and bright colors work best on these small surfaces. An electric bike is also a great excuse for lightning bolts, neon or a galaxy theme, if your child loves them. Check both sides in the preview together, and keep in mind that e-bike panels can vary by model year, so make sure the preview matches the bike in your garage.

Names, numbers and logos on the KTM SX-E 5
Seeing their name on the bike makes young riders feel like the pros on TV. On the SX-E 5, the front plate and the clean side panels are the best places for it, set in a bold, rounded font that a small child can recognize at a glance. If your child rides in an electric class or local events, add a number to the front plate and side panels, and check the rules for plate colors. Keep the name short, or use a nickname, so it stays large. Logos, such as a family name or the local club, fit on the rear fender. Simple layouts with one contrasting color for names and logos are the easiest to read on small panels.

Making a KTM SX-E 5 kit last (and grow with your rider)
Electric kids' bikes get ridden in backyards, on grass and on small tracks, and they get dropped a lot. Thick laminated vinyl and firmly pressed edges help the kit survive all of it. Busy patterns hide scratches between refreshes. Because the SX-E 5 is quiet and easy to live with, many families keep it for several years and pass it to younger siblings, so put the name on a separate decal that can be replaced. As your child grows and gains confidence, new SX-E 5 decals can give the bike a more grown-up look, such as a factory-style orange and black design instead of a cartoon theme. Saving your design makes it easy to update just the name or colors later.

How to Install KTM SX-E 5 Graphics
You need a heat gun or hair dryer, a squeegee and isopropyl alcohol. Plan an hour or two for a full SX-E 5 kit.
- 01Take the plastics offRemove the shrouds, fenders and plates from the SX-E 5 and work on a clean bench. Loose panels are far easier to wrap than panels on the bike.
- 02Strip the old decalsWarm old graphics with a heat gun or hair dryer and peel them slowly at a low angle. Remove leftover adhesive with an adhesive remover.
- 03Clean and degreaseWash the plastics, then wipe them with isopropyl alcohol so no oil or silicone is left. Let them dry completely.
- 04Line up each graphicPeel back only the first few centimeters of backing, line the graphic up against the panel's edges and holes, and tack it down.
- 05Lay it from the middle outPull the backing off as you go and push the vinyl down from the center outward with a squeegee or your thumb, chasing air toward the edges.
- 06Heat the curves and edgesWarm the vinyl around tight curves and edges so it stretches and settles, then press the edges down firmly. Keep the bike unplugged and cool while you apply the graphics. Press all edges down firmly, and let the adhesive cure for a day before charging and riding.

KTM SX-E 5 Graphics Kit FAQ
01Which bikes does this KTM SX-E 5 graphics kit fit?
This is an artwork preview for the KTM SX-E 5. Model years 2020–2026 are design references, not certified template compatibility. Have your printer confirm the exact year, installed plastics and cut lines. The 50 SX and SX-E 3 have their own page and kit.
02Does the SX-E 5 kit fit the 50 SX and SX-E 3?
Bikes in the same KTM family often have similar plastics, but shapes can differ around the shrouds, side panels and plates. Use the kit made for your exact bike, and check with your printer before using one kit for two bikes.
03Are electric kids' bike graphics different?
The material is the same, but e-bike plastics differ between models and years. Confirm your SX-E 5 panels before you order.
04What designs suit an SX-E 5?
Bright colors, lightning and galaxy are popular, along with the rider's name. Busy patterns also hide scuffs well.
05Are SX-E 5 graphics the same as SX-E 5 decals or a wrap?
Riders use all three words for the same thing: printed, die-cut vinyl that covers the SX-E 5's plastics. A "kit" means the full set of panels designed to work together.
06Can I see the SX-E 5 kit on the bike before I pay?
Yes. Designing and previewing are free. The 2D preview includes a front angle and a mirrored view; models with a 3D viewer can also be rotated in the designer.
07Can I add my child's name and number to the SX-E 5?
Yes. Type it in the Text panel and place it on the plates in one click. Numbers read the right way on both sides of the bike, and you can add a name across the rear fender or the shrouds.
08Can I put my own logo or artwork on the kit?
Yes. Upload a sponsor logo, team badge or photo, place it on any panel, then scale, rotate and recolor it.
09Can I leave some panels plain?
Yes. Paint any panel a solid color, or clear the artwork from it. Plain plastics next to a busy shroud graphic often look the most professional.
10What do I get with the HD export?
Clean high-resolution preview images and a flat artwork sheet without a watermark. The SX-E 5 export costs 30 credits; confirm physical dimensions and cut lines with your printer before printing.
11Is this a SX-E 5 graphics kit I design myself?
Yes. You design it here, export the HD sheet, and have it printed and cut by the print shop of your choice. That keeps you in control of the design, the vinyl and the price.
12Can I share my SX-E 5 design?
Yes. Create a share card or a link, and anyone can open the design and see it on the bike.
13How much does an AI design cost?
10 credits from a text prompt, or 20 credits from a photo. Credits come in one-time packs, from 200 credits for $9.90.
14Do credits expire?
No. Credits are a one-time purchase with no subscription, and they never expire.
