KTM Dirt Bike Graphics

The 450 EXC-F is KTM's enduro four-stroke, a bike built for hard off-road riding with lighting and, in many markets, road registration. The latest generation shares much of its engineering with KTM's motocross range.

Enduro riders often want a kit that looks good and stays good, so durable designs with busier patterns are popular, along with club or event logos on the rear fender.

Headlight mask / front plate
Usually the first thing people see. A bold number or name works well.
Radiator shrouds
The main canvas. Expect brush wear here.
Rear fender
Good for club, event or sponsor logos.
Swingarm
Thin decals add finish without much cost.

Designing a 450 EXC-F graphics kit, step by step

Start with the headlight mask, which defines the face of the 450 EXC-F and is the first panel people notice at a trailhead. Pick its base color, then design the right shroud with a shape that flows back from the headlight toward the seat. Mirror the shroud to the left side, then work on the side panels and rear fender, where enduro riders often place event or club logos. Keeping orange as the base is the classic choice, and white plastics with orange accents are also familiar on KTM enduro bikes. The orange frame runs close to the shrouds and under the seat, so set it in the Frame part and check contrast, especially if you choose a darker kit. Look at both sides in the preview, paying attention to the exhaust side.

Numbers & logos

Race numbers and sponsor logos on the 450 EXC-F

On a 450 EXC-F the number goes on the headlight mask and on the side panels. The headlight leaves less room than a motocross plate, so size the digits to fit the space above or beside the light and keep a clean margin around the lens. Enduro series often specify plate colors by class, so check the rules before you choose a background. Side numbers should be large, bold and high contrast, because officials read them while you ride past. Event and club stickers often get added later, so leave a little open space on the rear fender. A simple, heavy sans-serif font is the safe choice. When you order 450 EXC-F decals, keep your main sponsor on the upper shroud, where it is visible above the boot line and less exposed to brush.

Ride it

Graphics that survive trail riding on the 450 EXC-F

The 450 EXC-F is often ridden on long enduro days, so the kit sees rain, roots, rocks and repeated washing. Choose a thicker laminate if your printer offers one, and design with wear in mind. Keep large solid color fields away from the lower shroud corners and side panels, which get scraped by boots and rocks; use a pattern there instead, such as splatter or a texture. A matte finish works well on the lower panels and hides abrasion, while a gloss upper section keeps the orange vivid. Avoid fine pinstripes along panel edges, since edges are where vinyl tends to lift. If the bike is road-registered and ridden between trails, make sure plates stay clean and readable. A well-planned 450 EXC-F graphics kit can last several seasons of hard riding.

How to Install KTM 450 EXC-F Graphics

You need a heat gun or hair dryer, a squeegee and isopropyl alcohol. Plan an hour or two for a full 450 EXC-F kit.

  1. 01
Take the plastics offRemove the shrouds, fenders and plates from the 450 EXC-F and work on a clean bench. Loose panels are far easier to wrap than panels on the bike.
  2. 02
Strip the old decalsWarm old graphics with a heat gun or hair dryer and peel them slowly at a low angle. Remove leftover adhesive with an adhesive remover.
  3. 03
Clean and degreaseWash the plastics, then wipe them with isopropyl alcohol so no oil or silicone is left. Let them dry completely.
  4. 04
Line up each graphicPeel back only the first few centimeters of backing, line the graphic up against the panel's edges and holes, and tack it down.
  5. 05
Lay it from the middle outPull the backing off as you go and push the vinyl down from the center outward with a squeegee or your thumb, chasing air toward the edges.
  6. 06
Heat the curves and edgesWarm the vinyl around tight curves and edges so it stretches and settles, then press the edges down firmly. Clean the plastics extra thoroughly. Enduro bikes often carry chain lube and fuel residue, which stops vinyl from sticking. Finish with rubbing alcohol right before you apply.

Styles That Suit the 450 EXC-F

KTM 450 EXC-F Graphics Kit FAQ

01

Which bikes does this KTM 450 EXC-F graphics kit fit?

This is an artwork preview for the KTM 450 EXC-F. Model years 2024–2026 are design references, not certified template compatibility. Have your printer confirm the exact year, installed plastics and cut lines.

02

Will this kit fit an older 450 EXC-F?

The model-year guide lists references for 2024–2026. Do not infer fit for an older bike from the preview. Check its installed plastics and a matching printer template before production.

03

Will EXC-F graphics fit the SX-F?

The bikes share a lot, but enduro models have different lighting and some different bodywork. Choose the exact model you ride.

04

Can I add my enduro race number?

Yes. Add it to the front plate and side areas in one click, in whatever color your series requires.

05

Are 450 EXC-F graphics the same as 450 EXC-F decals or a wrap?

Riders use all three words for the same thing: printed, die-cut vinyl that covers the 450 EXC-F's plastics. A "kit" means the full set of panels designed to work together.

06

Can I see the 450 EXC-F kit on the bike before I pay?

Yes. Designing and previewing are free. The 2D preview includes a front angle and a mirrored view; models with a 3D viewer can also be rotated in the designer.

07

Can I add my race number and name to the 450 EXC-F?

Yes. Type it in the Text panel and place it on the plates in one click. Numbers read the right way on both sides of the bike, and you can add a name across the rear fender or the shrouds.

08

Can I put my own logo or artwork on the kit?

Yes. Upload a sponsor logo, team badge or photo, place it on any panel, then scale, rotate and recolor it.

09

Can I leave some panels plain?

Yes. Paint any panel a solid color, or clear the artwork from it. Plain plastics next to a busy shroud graphic often look the most professional.

10

What do I get with the HD export?

Clean high-resolution preview images and a flat artwork sheet without a watermark. The 450 EXC-F export costs 30 credits; confirm physical dimensions and cut lines with your printer before printing.

11

Is this a 450 EXC-F graphics kit I design myself?

Yes. You design it here, export the HD sheet, and have it printed and cut by the print shop of your choice. That keeps you in control of the design, the vinyl and the price.

12

Can I share my 450 EXC-F design?

Yes. Create a share card or a link, and anyone can open the design and see it on the bike.

13

How much does an AI design cost?

10 credits from a text prompt, or 20 credits from a photo. Credits come in one-time packs, from 200 credits for $9.90.

14

Do credits expire?

No. Credits are a one-time purchase with no subscription, and they never expire.
