KTM Dirt Bike Graphics

The 125 SX is KTM's 125 two-stroke and a common first big bike for riders moving up from minis. It runs on the current generation of SX plastics, with long, flat side panels and angular shrouds.

A 125 SX graphics kit is a great way to make a first big bike feel special: add a name, a number, and a design that keeps a touch of KTM orange, or go fully custom.

Radiator shrouds
Long and angular. Designs flowing front to back suit them best.
Side panels
Flat areas for big numbers and names.
Front fender
A spot to echo the shroud pattern.
Swingarm decals
Thin strips that finish off the lower half of the bike.

125 SX Design Guide

Designing a KTM 125 SX graphics kit, step by step

Start by choosing how much orange to keep. Many 125 SX owners are teenagers on their first big bike who want it to look like the factory team bikes they watch, so orange with black and white is a natural first draft. The preview shows dark frame and rim hints, which ground almost any color you put on top. Design the radiator shrouds first, following their angular lines, then carry the design along the long side plates. On a two-stroke, the right side shares space with the pipe and silencer, so review that side on its own before you finish. Mirror the layout where possible. Then rotate the preview and look at the bike from both sides and from the front, so the kit looks balanced from every angle.

Numbers & logos

Race numbers and sponsor logos on the KTM 125 SX

For many riders, the 125 SX is the first bike where race numbers really start to matter, so it is worth getting them right. Set the number large on the front plate and both side plates, with clear space around every digit. Check your series rules before you design, because 125 classes often have their own plate background color. A bold, slightly rounded font is easy to read and suits a younger rider's bike. Put the rider's name on the rear fender or high on the shrouds, where it shows up in photos. Sponsor logos, often a local shop or a family business, fit well on the upper shrouds and fork guards. Keep them smaller than the number so the bike reads cleanly from the stands.

Matching the KTM 125 SX kit to how you ride

A 125 SX is often the bike a rider learns on for a season or two before it changes hands, and that should shape the kit. If you are moving up and racing, choose a clean layout that looks professional and gives you confidence on the start line. If the bike is mainly for practice and learning, a playful scheme like orange and purple or a bold tiger stripe keeps it fun. Expect tip-overs while skills develop, so go for thick laminated vinyl and patterns that hide scratches. If the bike will be sold or passed on later, keep the name off the main panels and put it on a separate fender decal that is easy to replace. Good 125 SX graphics should fit the rider today and still leave room to grow.

How to Install KTM 125 SX Graphics

You need a heat gun or hair dryer, a squeegee and isopropyl alcohol. Plan an hour or two for a full 125 SX kit.

  1. 01
Take the plastics offRemove the shrouds, fenders and plates from the 125 SX and work on a clean bench. Loose panels are far easier to wrap than panels on the bike.
  2. 02
Strip the old decalsWarm old graphics with a heat gun or hair dryer and peel them slowly at a low angle. Remove leftover adhesive with an adhesive remover.
  3. 03
Clean and degreaseWash the plastics, then wipe them with isopropyl alcohol so no oil or silicone is left. Let them dry completely.
  4. 04
Line up each graphicPeel back only the first few centimeters of backing, line the graphic up against the panel's edges and holes, and tack it down.
  5. 05
Lay it from the middle outPull the backing off as you go and push the vinyl down from the center outward with a squeegee or your thumb, chasing air toward the edges.
  6. 06
Heat the curves and edgesWarm the vinyl around tight curves and edges so it stretches and settles, then press the edges down firmly. Warm the creases where the shrouds fold toward the tank and press the vinyl in with your thumb. Keep side panel graphics clear of the hottest area near the pipe.

Styles That Suit the 125 SX

KTM 125 SX Graphics Kit FAQ

01

Which bikes does this KTM 125 SX graphics kit fit?

This is an artwork preview for the KTM 125 SX. Model years 2023–2026 are design references, not certified template compatibility. Have your printer confirm the exact year, installed plastics and cut lines. The 450 SX-F, 250 SX-F, 250 SX and 300 SX have their own page and kit.

02

Will this kit fit an older 125 SX?

The model-year guide lists references for 2023–2026. Do not infer fit for an older bike from the preview. Check its installed plastics and a matching printer template before production.

03

Does a 125 SX kit fit the 250 SX or 300 SX?

KTM's two-stroke SX models are often similar within a generation. Check with your printer before ordering one kit for several bikes.

04

Can I add a rider name to my 125 SX decals?

Yes. Names on the rear fender or side panels are popular, alongside your race number.

05

Are 125 SX graphics the same as 125 SX decals or a wrap?

Riders use all three words for the same thing: printed, die-cut vinyl that covers the 125 SX's plastics. A "kit" means the full set of panels designed to work together.

06

Can I see the 125 SX kit on the bike before I pay?

Yes. Designing and previewing are free. The 2D preview includes a front angle and a mirrored view; models with a 3D viewer can also be rotated in the designer.

07

Can I add my race number and name to the 125 SX?

Yes. Type it in the Text panel and place it on the plates in one click. Numbers read the right way on both sides of the bike, and you can add a name across the rear fender or the shrouds.

08

Can I put my own logo or artwork on the kit?

Yes. Upload a sponsor logo, team badge or photo, place it on any panel, then scale, rotate and recolor it.

09

Can I leave some panels plain?

Yes. Paint any panel a solid color, or clear the artwork from it. Plain plastics next to a busy shroud graphic often look the most professional.

10

What do I get with the HD export?

Clean high-resolution preview images and a flat artwork sheet without a watermark. The 125 SX export costs 30 credits; confirm physical dimensions and cut lines with your printer before printing.

11

Is this a 125 SX graphics kit I design myself?

Yes. You design it here, export the HD sheet, and have it printed and cut by the print shop of your choice. That keeps you in control of the design, the vinyl and the price.

12

Can I share my 125 SX design?

Yes. Create a share card or a link, and anyone can open the design and see it on the bike.

13

How much does an AI design cost?

10 credits from a text prompt, or 20 credits from a photo. Credits come in one-time packs, from 200 credits for $9.90.

14

Do credits expire?

No. Credits are a one-time purchase with no subscription, and they never expire.
