KTM Dirt Bike Graphics
KTM's 450 SX-F is the brand's flagship motocrosser and a constant at professional level. The current generation arrived for 2023 with a new frame and new bodywork that is longer and flatter through the side panels.
Orange is part of KTM's identity, so most custom kits keep it somewhere: as the base color, as an accent on the fenders, or as thin pinstripes on an otherwise dark design.
- Radiator shrouds
- Long and angular. Works best with designs that run front to back.
- Side panels and rear fender
- Long, flat surfaces for big numbers and names.
- Front fender
- A good spot for a pattern that echoes the shrouds.
- Swingarm decals
- Thin strips that tie the bottom of the bike to the top.

450 SX-F Design Guide
Three short guides written for the 450 SX-F: how to plan the kit, where numbers go, and how to match it to your riding.

Designing a 450 SX-F graphics kit, step by step
Decide first how much orange you want. Keeping the stock orange base and adding black and white on top is the quickest route to a factory look, while starting from a black or white base lets orange become the accent. KTM's long side plates and angular shrouds favor designs that run front to back, so sketch one main sweep across the shroud and continue it into the side plate before you add details. Design the right side, mirror it, then check the left side where there is no muffler and the side plate shows in full. KTM bikes come with an orange frame, which sits right against the shrouds, so set the Frame color in the editor and make sure your orange shades do not clash. Check the preview from both sides before you export.

Race numbers and sponsor logos on the 450 SX-F
On the 450 SX-F the long side plates are the natural home for your number, and they suit tall, slightly slanted digits that echo the bike's sharp lines. Leave room at the back of the plate so the number does not run into the seat edge. Many riders use a white background for the 450 class, though orange or black plates with white digits are common at club level where rules allow. Put your main sponsor on the upper shroud and repeat a smaller version on the front fender, which is long and visible on this bike. The swingarm area is great for thin text logos. When picking fonts, avoid very thin strokes and tight letter spacing; KTM 450 SX-F graphics with chunky, well-spaced numbers stay readable through mud and roost.

Matching the 450 SX-F kit to how you ride
The 450 SX-F tends to attract riders who race, so think about how the kit will look after a full moto. On rough, choppy tracks the lower shrouds and side plates take boot and knee contact, and orange vinyl shows scuffs as pale marks; adding black on the lower edges hides that. In sand, the front fender and fork guards get blasted, so a darker or patterned front end lasts longer visually. If you mostly ride hard pack, a high-gloss kit keeps the colors vivid and makes washing easy. Matte works well on a mostly black design and gives a modern feel next to the orange frame. Riders who swap between practice and race weekends often keep a busy design on the lower panels and a cleaner, bolder look up top.

How to Install KTM 450 SX-F Graphics
You need a heat gun or hair dryer, a squeegee and isopropyl alcohol. Plan an hour or two for a full 450 SX-F kit.
- 01Take the plastics offRemove the shrouds, fenders and plates from the 450 SX-F and work on a clean bench. Loose panels are far easier to wrap than panels on the bike.
- 02Strip the old decalsWarm old graphics with a heat gun or hair dryer and peel them slowly at a low angle. Remove leftover adhesive with an adhesive remover.
- 03Clean and degreaseWash the plastics, then wipe them with isopropyl alcohol so no oil or silicone is left. Let them dry completely.
- 04Line up each graphicPeel back only the first few centimeters of backing, line the graphic up against the panel's edges and holes, and tack it down.
- 05Lay it from the middle outPull the backing off as you go and push the vinyl down from the center outward with a squeegee or your thumb, chasing air toward the edges.
- 06Heat the curves and edgesWarm the vinyl around tight curves and edges so it stretches and settles, then press the edges down firmly. KTM plastics have sharp creases where the shrouds fold toward the tank. Heat those areas gently and press the vinyl into the crease with your thumb before squeegeeing the flat areas.

KTM 450 SX-F Graphics Kit FAQ
01Which bikes does this KTM 450 SX-F graphics kit fit?
This is an artwork preview for the KTM 450 SX-F. Model years 2023–2026 are design references, not certified template compatibility. Have your printer confirm the exact year, installed plastics and cut lines. The 250 SX-F, 125 SX, 250 SX and 300 SX have their own page and kit.
02Does the 450 SX-F kit fit the 250 SX-F, 125 SX, 250 SX and 300 SX?
Bikes in the same KTM family often have similar plastics, but shapes can differ around the shrouds, side panels and plates. Use the kit made for your exact bike, and check with your printer before using one kit for two bikes.
03Do KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas graphics interchange?
The three brands share a lot of engineering, but their bodywork is styled differently. Pick the exact bike so the kit matches its plastics.
04Does the 450 SX-F kit fit the 250 and 350 SX-F?
KTM's SX-F models often share bodywork within a generation. Check with your printer before ordering one kit for several bikes.
05Are 450 SX-F graphics the same as 450 SX-F decals or a wrap?
Riders use all three words for the same thing: printed, die-cut vinyl that covers the 450 SX-F's plastics. A "kit" means the full set of panels designed to work together.
06Can I see the 450 SX-F kit on the bike before I pay?
Yes. Designing and previewing are free. The 2D preview includes a front angle and a mirrored view; models with a 3D viewer can also be rotated in the designer.
07Can I add my race number and name to the 450 SX-F?
Yes. Type it in the Text panel and place it on the plates in one click. Numbers read the right way on both sides of the bike, and you can add a name across the rear fender or the shrouds.
08Can I put my own logo or artwork on the kit?
Yes. Upload a sponsor logo, team badge or photo, place it on any panel, then scale, rotate and recolor it.
09Can I leave some panels plain?
Yes. Paint any panel a solid color, or clear the artwork from it. Plain plastics next to a busy shroud graphic often look the most professional.
10What do I get with the HD export?
Clean high-resolution preview images and a flat artwork sheet without a watermark. The 450 SX-F export costs 30 credits; confirm physical dimensions and cut lines with your printer before printing.
11Is this a 450 SX-F graphics kit I design myself?
Yes. You design it here, export the HD sheet, and have it printed and cut by the print shop of your choice. That keeps you in control of the design, the vinyl and the price.
12Can I share my 450 SX-F design?
Yes. Create a share card or a link, and anyone can open the design and see it on the bike.
13How much does an AI design cost?
10 credits from a text prompt, or 20 credits from a photo. Credits come in one-time packs, from 200 credits for $9.90.
14Do credits expire?
No. Credits are a one-time purchase with no subscription, and they never expire.
