KTM Dirt Bike Graphics
The 50 SX is KTM's mini motocrosser for young kids, styled to look like the full-size SX bikes. It uses an automatic clutch, so new riders can focus on throttle and balance.
Kids love a bike that looks like the ones the pros ride. A 50 SX graphics kit with a factory-style design, bright colors and their name makes a small bike feel like a real race machine.
- Radiator shrouds
- The main canvas. Keep shapes bold so they read on small panels.
- Side panels
- Room for a name or a race number.
- Front plate
- Big, clear numbers or a name.
- Rear fender
- A small spot for a fun pattern.

50 SX Design Guide
Three short guides written for the 50 SX: how to plan the kit, where numbers go, and how to match it to your riding.

Designing a KTM 50 SX graphics kit, step by step
The 50 SX starts from KTM orange, with dark frame and rim hints in the preview. Kids who want to look like the pros will usually ask for orange, black and white, but neon green, purple or bright blue also work well on such a small bike. Start with the radiator shrouds, which are the main canvas, and keep shapes bold and simple, because fine detail disappears at this scale. Then move to the side panels, front plate and rear fender. Mirror the layout so both sides match. Let your young racer pick the main color and pattern, then sit down together and check both sides in the preview before ordering. Zoom out as well, to see how the kit reads from the fence line.

Names, numbers and logos on the KTM 50 SX
Many 50 SX riders are just starting to race, so names and numbers often go hand in hand on this bike. Put the number on the front plate and side panels in a bold, easy-to-read font, and check your local series for plate color rules in the 50cc classes. The rider's name fits well high on the shrouds or along the rear fender. Keep it short, or use a nickname, so it stays big enough to read. Sponsor logos, often from a local shop or a family business, look best in a single color on the shrouds or front fender. Avoid crowding the small panels; a simple, factory-style layout looks more professional and lets the rider's number stand out at the gate.

Making a KTM 50 SX kit last (and grow with your rider)
Mini racers crash, tip over and get dragged around the pits, so durability matters as much as looks. Thick laminated vinyl and firmly pressed edges help the kit survive a full season. Busy patterns hide scratches between refreshes. Young riders progress fast, and many move up to a bigger bike within a few seasons, so plan for change: keep the number on plate decals that can be updated if it changes, and put the name somewhere easy to replace. Saving your design means you can reorder matching 50 SX graphics after a hard season, or carry the same colors and layout over to the next bike, so your rider keeps a signature look as they grow.

How to Install KTM 50 SX Graphics
You need a heat gun or hair dryer, a squeegee and isopropyl alcohol. Plan an hour or two for a full 50 SX kit.
- 01Take the plastics offRemove the shrouds, fenders and plates from the 50 SX and work on a clean bench. Loose panels are far easier to wrap than panels on the bike.
- 02Strip the old decalsWarm old graphics with a heat gun or hair dryer and peel them slowly at a low angle. Remove leftover adhesive with an adhesive remover.
- 03Clean and degreaseWash the plastics, then wipe them with isopropyl alcohol so no oil or silicone is left. Let them dry completely.
- 04Line up each graphicPeel back only the first few centimeters of backing, line the graphic up against the panel's edges and holes, and tack it down.
- 05Lay it from the middle outPull the backing off as you go and push the vinyl down from the center outward with a squeegee or your thumb, chasing air toward the edges.
- 06Heat the curves and edgesWarm the vinyl around tight curves and edges so it stretches and settles, then press the edges down firmly. The panels are small, so take your time with alignment. Press all edges down firmly: mini bikes get dropped often, and laminated vinyl holds up better to scrapes.

KTM 50 SX Graphics Kit FAQ
01Which bikes does this KTM 50 SX graphics kit fit?
This is an artwork preview for the KTM 50 SX. Model years 2024–2026 are design references, not certified template compatibility. Have your printer confirm the exact year, installed plastics and cut lines. The SX-E 5 and SX-E 3 have their own page and kit.
02Does the 50 SX kit fit the SX-E 5 and SX-E 3?
Bikes in the same KTM family often have similar plastics, but shapes can differ around the shrouds, side panels and plates. Use the kit made for your exact bike, and check with your printer before using one kit for two bikes.
03Name or race number on a 50 SX?
Both work. Many young riders run their name on the shrouds and a number on the front plate once they start racing.
04Will older 50 SX decals fit the current bike?
The current generation has updated bodywork, so choose 50 SX decals made for your year range.
05Are 50 SX graphics the same as 50 SX decals or a wrap?
Riders use all three words for the same thing: printed, die-cut vinyl that covers the 50 SX's plastics. A "kit" means the full set of panels designed to work together.
06Can I see the 50 SX kit on the bike before I pay?
Yes. Designing and previewing are free. The 2D preview includes a front angle and a mirrored view; models with a 3D viewer can also be rotated in the designer.
07Can I add my child's name and number to the 50 SX?
Yes. Type it in the Text panel and place it on the plates in one click. Numbers read the right way on both sides of the bike, and you can add a name across the rear fender or the shrouds.
08Can I put my own logo or artwork on the kit?
Yes. Upload a sponsor logo, team badge or photo, place it on any panel, then scale, rotate and recolor it.
09Can I leave some panels plain?
Yes. Paint any panel a solid color, or clear the artwork from it. Plain plastics next to a busy shroud graphic often look the most professional.
10What do I get with the HD export?
Clean high-resolution preview images and a flat artwork sheet without a watermark. The 50 SX export costs 30 credits; confirm physical dimensions and cut lines with your printer before printing.
11Is this a 50 SX graphics kit I design myself?
Yes. You design it here, export the HD sheet, and have it printed and cut by the print shop of your choice. That keeps you in control of the design, the vinyl and the price.
12Can I share my 50 SX design?
Yes. Create a share card or a link, and anyone can open the design and see it on the bike.
13How much does an AI design cost?
10 credits from a text prompt, or 20 credits from a photo. Credits come in one-time packs, from 200 credits for $9.90.
14Do credits expire?
No. Credits are a one-time purchase with no subscription, and they never expire.
