Kawasaki Dirt Bike Graphics
The KX250 is Kawasaki's 250 four-stroke motocrosser, and the latest version picks up the sharper, more aggressive bodywork style of the current KX450. Its lime green plastics are hard to miss on any track.
The angular shrouds have flat faces split by hard folds, which suits shards, speed lines and stripes. A KX250 graphics kit can lean fully into lime green or keep it as a thin accent on black or white.
- Radiator shrouds
- Sharp edges and a strong forward angle. Speed lines and shards suit them.
- Tank shrouds
- Good for a contrasting color block.
- Rear fender
- Rising and fairly long. Nice for a name or a fading pattern.
- Front plate
- A black plate with a white or green number is a popular Kawasaki look.

KX250 Design Guide
Three short guides written for the KX250: how to plan the kit, where numbers go, and how to match it to your riding.

Designing a Kawasaki KX250 graphics kit, step by step
Lime green is one of the most recognizable colors in motocross, so decide early how much of it you want showing. The KX250 preview pairs the plastics with dark frame and rim hints, which makes lime and black the natural default. Switch to a white or gray base and you will want a band of green or black along the lower shroud edges so the bodywork still ties into the chassis. Start with the radiator shrouds and treat each flat face as its own area, rather than forcing one shape across a fold where it will look broken. Then move on to the side panels and fenders. Mirror both sides, check each one in the preview, and also look from the front, where the wide shrouds dominate the bike.

Race numbers and sponsor logos on the Kawasaki KX250
A green bike makes plate choices more interesting. A lime background with dark digits can look fantastic, but many classes set the plate color for you, so read your rules first. With a free choice, black or white backgrounds give the most contrast against the green plastics. Use a heavy, angular font that echoes the sharp lines of the current KX, and skip hairline outlines, which vanish against lime from a distance. On the side panels, keep the number on the flattest section, well away from any fold. Sponsor logos read best on the upper half of the shrouds, where they show at the gate and in every corner photo. One strong sponsor beats a dozen tiny ones, and KX250 decals look tidier when every logo shares one color treatment.

Matching the Kawasaki KX250 kit to how you ride
Kawasaki riders tend to embrace the green, and a KX250 kit can either lean into that identity or quietly step away from it. If you race, a strong green-and-black scheme with one distinct extra color, such as purple or white, helps friends and mechanics spot you on the far side of the track. Practice and fun riders often prefer a darker kit with lime used only in thin lines, which keeps the bike looking sharp even after muddy days. If you keep stock plastics for several seasons, scuff-hiding patterns like digital camo stretch the fresh look between kits. The current bodywork only applies to the 2025 and later bikes listed here, so make sure your KX250 graphics are built on this shape rather than an older one.

How to Install Kawasaki KX250 Graphics
You need a heat gun or hair dryer, a squeegee and isopropyl alcohol. Plan an hour or two for a full KX250 kit.
- 01Take the plastics offRemove the shrouds, fenders and plates from the KX250 and work on a clean bench. Loose panels are far easier to wrap than panels on the bike.
- 02Strip the old decalsWarm old graphics with a heat gun or hair dryer and peel them slowly at a low angle. Remove leftover adhesive with an adhesive remover.
- 03Clean and degreaseWash the plastics, then wipe them with isopropyl alcohol so no oil or silicone is left. Let them dry completely.
- 04Line up each graphicPeel back only the first few centimeters of backing, line the graphic up against the panel's edges and holes, and tack it down.
- 05Lay it from the middle outPull the backing off as you go and push the vinyl down from the center outward with a squeegee or your thumb, chasing air toward the edges.
- 06Heat the curves and edgesWarm the vinyl around tight curves and edges so it stretches and settles, then press the edges down firmly. Apply one flat face of each shroud at a time, then use gentle heat to bend the vinyl over the folds instead of stretching it across them.

Kawasaki KX250 Graphics Kit FAQ
01Which bikes does this Kawasaki KX250 graphics kit fit?
This is an artwork preview for the Kawasaki KX250. Model years 2025–2026 are design references, not certified template compatibility. Have your printer confirm the exact year, installed plastics and cut lines. The KX450 has its own page and kit.
02Will this kit fit an older KX250?
The model-year guide lists references for 2025–2026. Do not infer fit for an older bike from the preview. Check its installed plastics and a matching printer template before production.
03Does a KX250 kit fit the KX450?
The two often look alike, but Kawasaki doesn't always update both in the same year. Check with your printer before ordering one kit for both.
04Will KX250 decals for older years fit the current bike?
Usually not. The latest bodywork has new shapes, so choose the year range that matches your bike.
05Are KX250 graphics the same as KX250 decals or a wrap?
Riders use all three words for the same thing: printed, die-cut vinyl that covers the KX250's plastics. A "kit" means the full set of panels designed to work together.
06Can I see the KX250 kit on the bike before I pay?
Yes. Designing and previewing are free. The 2D preview includes a front angle and a mirrored view; models with a 3D viewer can also be rotated in the designer.
07Can I add my race number and name to the KX250?
Yes. Type it in the Text panel and place it on the plates in one click. Numbers read the right way on both sides of the bike, and you can add a name across the rear fender or the shrouds.
08Can I put my own logo or artwork on the kit?
Yes. Upload a sponsor logo, team badge or photo, place it on any panel, then scale, rotate and recolor it.
09Can I leave some panels plain?
Yes. Paint any panel a solid color, or clear the artwork from it. Plain plastics next to a busy shroud graphic often look the most professional.
10What do I get with the HD export?
Clean high-resolution preview images and a flat artwork sheet without a watermark. The KX250 export costs 30 credits; confirm physical dimensions and cut lines with your printer before printing.
11Is this a KX250 graphics kit I design myself?
Yes. You design it here, export the HD sheet, and have it printed and cut by the print shop of your choice. That keeps you in control of the design, the vinyl and the price.
12Can I share my KX250 design?
Yes. Create a share card or a link, and anyone can open the design and see it on the bike.
13How much does an AI design cost?
10 credits from a text prompt, or 20 credits from a photo. Credits come in one-time packs, from 200 credits for $9.90.
14Do credits expire?
No. Credits are a one-time purchase with no subscription, and they never expire.
